"Course de La Liberte"

Sheets of light
And evening tide
Merge into one,
And the beat of
An ancient rhythm
Gives way to the truth.
      I come to you...
Freedom's run.

~Judith A. Beauchamp

"Matisse"

Look at me...windblown and free,
Dancing on my toes
With wild abandon in life's surf,
Going where my heart goes,
Being who I want to be, the dream.
I toss my head and the wind blows.
Look at me...I am Matisse.

~Judith A. Beauchamp

"Majestueux"

A perfect pose, hooves in the air,
A charmer, debonair, I agree, this is me,
A slow motion roll, And a coy glance,

I beckon to you and begin to
sway and
Then slowly prance.  You, outlined against
The sun, stretch into shadows
On the ground and I imagine, surmise
Your hidden eyes, turned my way
While I strut under a make believe crown,
Fragile fine lace against long ago
Windows glowing in the sun.

~Judith A. Beauchamp

"Chanson Irlandais"

Double rainbows spring alive
From the hills with vibrant color,
Intense against the gray sky.
The morning light glides over the
Backs of sheep spotting the green fields
And the folds of misty valleys.
In this multi-hued glowing vista,
A solitary horse on a narrow road
Or striding a stone wall, from me
The music grows, a trickle to a waterfall,
Proud and full of laughter.
I am  Irish Song...

~Judith A. Beauchamp

"Preneur de Souffle"

The beat of my winged feet
Gives birth to a new solitary
And spectacular song.
Preneur de Souffle,
You cannot rename me
To recall some forgotten dream.
Color me, yes, love me
As I am, without constraint.
I  will explode in  a
Thousand suns and

Take your breath away...
